On Sunday, June 26, Pastor David Walker and the Alamo City Church prayed for John and Don Schwartz as they prepare for their mission trip to Bulgaria, July 8-28. We also prayed for Sylvia as she remains home this time, but ready to go next time — and for good! Please, you may also pray for us all as we move thru each day (you can use the following calendar and map) during this mission endeavor. The opposition is already great — but our God is greater than any other!

Got to Sell the Donuts! Got to Sell the Donuts!
In June, holding two Krispy Kreme Donuts fundraisers helped us raise over $750 toward our Mission Bulgaria 2016, plus another $750 for the youth of the church! Thank you to Scott and Julie Adams and the Alamo City youth who participated with us. Glad to work together for God’s glory!

Finishing Well!
For the past four years Sylvia and I have been privileged to teach on Wednesday evenings at our home church, Alamo City. We have taught: Pressing On, Bible Basics for Everybody, The Christian Family, Digging Deeper: Into Hebrews, and The Armor of God. The Lord has surely used this as necessary preparation for our upcoming ministry days in Bulgaria. Thank you to our pastor, David Walker, for encouraging us to pursue our gifts in teaching and exhortation. We enjoy “digging deeper” into God’s Word and sharing with others what nuggets we find!

5K Walk for Mission Bulgaria 2016 a Success!
We held our 4th Annual 5K Walk on Saturday, May 7th, at Alamo City Church in San Antonio. About 30 people joined us, both to call awareness to Mission Bulgaria 2016, our annual mission trip, and to pray for the Lord’s blessing and eternal success. “The Bridge,” Alamo City Church’s youth praise band led worship to the Lord as each participant walked and prayed for the upcoming ministry. A total of $2600 was raised to support the ministry trip, praise the Lord! John Putman and Donald Schwartz will travel to Bulgaria on July 8th and return on July 28th.
Please pray for traveling mercies, strong effective ministry among the Bulgarian people, and lasting friendships. Pray also for open doors as they teach John Maxwell’s EQUIP leadership training to both secular society, among governmental leaders and school officials, and God’s people, with pastors and other Christian ministers. It’s time for our 4th annual 5K Walk for Mission Bulgaria. It will be held at Alamo City Church grounds on Saturday, May 7 at 9:00 am. The youth praise band will be performing and there will be great door prizes! The entire family can participate and please invite your friends! You can register at the event…come out and join us and support the mission trip to Bulgaria in July!
T&F Board of Directors Meets the Stoevskis
On Thursday, March 31st, the T&F International Board of Directors met at their regular bi-annual spring meeting. Present at the meeting were our special guests, Grozdan Stoevski and his wife, Slavica, fresh from the previous evening’s activities at Alamo City Church. Present also was our guest, Donald Schwartz, who will accompany John Putman to Bulgaria in July. At the brief board meeting, John and Grozdan shared their perspectives on the Alamo City presentation, and John shared the board’s appreciation for the Stoevski’s ministry at Holy Trinity Christian Church in Sofia, Bulgaria. He also thanked them for the opportunity to partner with their church in the coming year as the Putmans move to Bulgaria to start full-time work for T&F International there. Then each of the board members had the rest of the evening to meet and speak (and play and sing) with Grozdan and his wife, Slavica. It was a great time of fellowship with new friends and partners! One Amazing Night!
We praise the Lord for a great evening with T&F International on Wednesday, March 30th at Alamo City Church! We enjoyed a night of Praise and Mission Vision together with about 100 of our dearest friends. We thank everyone for coming out! Grozdan Stoevski shared about the ministry of Holy Trinity Christian Church in Bulgaria. John Putman shared God’s vision for ministering to and with these frontline pastors and their wives. And Jerry Smith, Associate Pastor of Alamo City Church, commended the work of T&F International for its integrity and faithfulness to God’s call and to the work of ministry. What a wonderful gathering of God’s choice believers! Thank you all again for encouraging us with your presence and prayers! (see Galleries for photoshow)
